Police are appealing for witnesses after the assault

Detectives in Enniskillen are appealing for witnesses following an assault in the Main Street area of Ballinamallard , Friday July 12th.

At approximately 3.50pm Police received a report that a 21 year man had been assaulted to the rear of licenced premises in the Main Street area. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment for his injuries, which were not believed to be life threatening.

Three males, 2 aged 18 and 1 aged 16 were arrested and were later released on bail pending further enquries.

Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed the assault or with any information about the incident to contact Detectives at Enniskillen on 0845 600 8000.
