Local students to hear Obama’s Belfast address

LOCAL students look set to be part of a group of students who will hear US President Barack Obama’s address in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast on Monday.

President Obama is visiting Belfast prior to his meeting with seven of the world’s leaders at Lough Erne in County Fermanagh.

Among those are some pupils from St Michael’s college, in Enniskillen. It is believed 2000 in total are to attend.

The St Michael’s permission note, reason for trip said: ‘to attend ‘Remarks by President Obama’.
