Large quantity of cannabis seized in Enniskillen

PSNI seized a large quantity of cannabis yesterday

Police in Enniskillen have seized a large quantity of suspected herbal cannabis in the Dublin Road area of the town yesterday, Wednesday March 20.

At approximately 1pm it was reported that a silver coloured Renault Scenic had been in collision with a lorry in the area. The driver and passenger made off from the scene following the collision. Police conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered the suspect cannabis in side a suitcase and holdall in the boot of the car.

The male driver is described as being in his late 20’s or early 30’s with short black hair. He was wearing a black leather jacket and dark trousers. His female passenger is described as being tall, of slim build. She was wearing black coloured leather trousers. Both these individuals are believed to be Chinese.
