BJT & Son (Brian Tolan)

BJT & Son Ltd which originated in Irvinestown recently extended its growing business to Lisnarick. The high-quality plant and tool hire company supplies the construction and forestry industry with sales and service, tools and lifting equipment.

Since starting as a man in a van 17 years ago they currently have 11 full time staff and serve customers from all over Ireland.
They have a fully stocked parts department onsite and ensure next day delivery. Hire has increased substantially in 12 month and they have seen a 60 per cent sales increase in ride-on lawnmowers.

 


 

McElwaine Security Services

Established in 2011 McElwaine Security Service’s core business is electronic security solutions and remote monitoring. Their business, which employs 55 staff, is throughout the North and South of Ireland as well as Scotland and due to demand have recently opened an office in Dublin.

They believe keeping up to date with technology is key to staying at the cutting edge of technology and have recently secured a contract with 35 Eason stores and all 02 shops in the North and Scotland.

 


 

MK Truck Repairs

MK Truck Repairs was started by Tempo couple husband and wife Michael and Bronagh Kelly. The industrial truck repair garage caters for all types of HGB lorries, light commercial repairs and maintenance.

In July this year they expanded to a larger 12,000 sq. ft premises. They are in process of delivering tacho calibration facilities to record information from driver lorries on drive time, speed and distance. They provide services in-house for all makes and models of vehicle and class themselves as a one stop shop for the industry.

 


 

Swifts Supermarkets Lisnaskea & Roslea

Swifts Supermarkets in Lisnaskea and Roslea is a family run business. Originally established by the father Philip Swift and is now owned by brother and sister Stephen and Sandra Swift.

The retail franchise, which employs 140 people across two stores, has recently gone through a £1.7 million refurbishment which includes a butchery, 24-hour fuel court, off licence and hot food counter. They have also recently taken over a franchise of Subway. Ongoing development has seen them develop their own brand meals and the launch of their own rewards club card.
