International Business to Best Restaurant

 

In their seventh year, the Fermanagh Herald Business Awards aim to celebrate local business success and in particular those who show initiative, business acumen and a great determination to grow the local economy.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD, SPONSORED BY CAVANAGH KELLY CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS (NEW CATEGORY)

This award offers applicants the opportunity to receive recognition for the growth in their locally based business through actively importing/exporting from/to international markets during the last two years.

The winner will demonstrate how working internationally has benefited the business’ profitability. Judges will consider export/import to/from countries outside Northern Ireland (more credence will be attached to countries outside GB).

Applicants will be assessed on the following criteria: export/import sales growth, percentage of export/import business, overcoming challenges/barriers to exports/imports, strategies for growth

 

RESTAURANT OF THE YEAR AWARD, SPONSORED BY GORTRUSH FOOD SERVICES

This award is for a restaurant that consistently provides a welcoming environment with an excellent menu range and top-quality food.

Award sponsor Gortrush Food Services will provide £350 worth of store vouchers towards this category. Applicants will be assessed on the following criteria: service, decor, quality, range.

PROCESS

After the closing date, 3rd August, the judging panel will then shortlist each category with guaranteed free publicity for the entrants in advance of the gala awards night and also at the big night itself. Self and third-party nominations are welcome for all award categories.

GALA AWARDS NIGHT
