Congratulations to the shortlisted entrants!

The 2018 Fermanagh Herald Business Awards shortlisted nominees a will be featured in-paper and online from Wednesday 12th September until Wednesday 3rd October.

The awards initiative is in its seventh year and the events committee have worked to refresh the 2018 event and as a result they were delighted to announce NEW award categories alongside favourites from previous years.

The awards aim to celebrate local business success and in particular those who show initiative, business acumen and a great determination to grow the local economy. This year there are 9 awards up for grabs and the process will culminate with a Gala Awards Night in the Killyhevlin Hotel on Friday, 12th October 2018.

Delighted to be announcing the awards, Maurice Kennedy, editor of the Fermanagh Herald said, “the whole business awards initiative is a truly magnificent PR opportunity to be involved in, whether you’re a sponsor or a nominee and we thank everyone involved and we are looking forward to making it the biggest and best Fermanagh Herald Business Awards yet!’’ The Awards have grown into the biggest social business event in Fermanagh, with an expected 300 people in attendance.

By entering you can raise your profile, prove your excellence, acknowledge your team efforts and impress partners and clients. There is an added bonus of £2,000 worth of SWC Innotech Centre consultancy for the Best Start Up Business Award winner, plus £350 worth of Gortrush Food Services vouchers for the Restaurant of the Year shortlisted nominees.

With the awards launched, individuals and businesses were invited to enter by selecting the relevant award category online. After the closing date, 3rd August, the judging panel will then shortlist each category with guaranteed free publicity for the entrants in advance of the gala awards night and also at the big night itself.
