Popular children’s play centre closes its doors

Castle Island in Enniskillen AP02

Castle Island, one of Enniskillen’s most popular children’s entertainment centre is closing its doors.
The Castle Island Indoor Activity Centre at Quay Pass, Enniskillen first opened in 2009, and has provided many childhood memories for children throughout Fermanagh during the eight years in business.
The play centre which catered for children of all ages, will be closing down on Sunday, July 2nd due to the lease coming to an end.
A lot of young local children have fond memories of the time they spent at Castle Island, playing in the ball pool, using the colourful party rooms or sliding down the many slides. For many parents, it was a place for to bring their children on the cold and wet summers day.
Confirming the closure Castle Island management said: “It is with great sadness we have to announce the closure of Castle Island Indoor Play Centre.
“We will not be relocating, we closing our doors. We are definitely very sad, but the lease has came to an end now and we have decided that it is time to move on. We would like to thank everyone for their loyal custom throughout our years in business.”
