COUNTRY superstar Nathan Carter will wow his many fans this Easter weekend when he appears for a special fundraising event in Enniskillen.
The Liverpool-born singer is lending his support to a coffee morning and cake sale in the Enniskillen Hotel this Saturday 15th April from 10.30am to 12 noon. The event is being jointly hosted by the Rotary Club of Enniskillen and Willowbridge School with proceeds going to their Minibus Appeal Fund.
Willowbridge Principal Julie Murphy explained: “The Rotary Club are currently fundraising for a new school mini bus for Willowbridge School. The school is in need of a new purpose designed bus as due to the needs of the pupils much of the learning takes place in real life situations including visiting the dentist, going shopping, visiting the hair dresser and more.”
Carter has just released a video for his new single ‘Livin’ the Dream’ and performed at a sell out concert in Dublin’s 3 Arena. The star has been a long-time supporter of Willowbridge and regularly takes time out of his busy schedule to visit the school, much to the delight of pupils and staff.
Local singing duo The Benn Sisters will also be singing on the day.
Enniskillen Rotary Club President Kenny Fisher added: “We are delighted that Nathan Carter has agreed to spare some time to make a guest appearance in support of the Rotary Club’s charity appeal. He will sing some songs, sign autographs and pose for photos.
“There is no cover charge, but donations will be accepted on the day in support of this very worthwhile project.”
