PREPARATIONS are well underway at St Columban’s Primary School in Belcoo, where pupils and staff are getting ready for their annual Christmas Carol Service.
This year the performance will take place at St Patrick’s Church, Holywell this Wednesday, December 14th at 7pm. The children will sing a variety of carols, some modern along with the more traditional ones that the congregation can join in and sing along.
It won’t just be singing, either, with Primary 4 pupils using drama to help tell the story of Christmas, while the Primary 7 class will lead the readings and reflections.
St Columban’s Carol Service promises to be a meaningful, magical and enjoyable performance from the children, which we hope will let us all reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Everyone is welcome to come along.
