FERMANAGH ladies have a new option when it comes to style and fashion. Enniskillen’s new contemporary boutique Kalissi, delivers a range of fashion brands to suit old and new shoppers to the High Street.

Kalissi has been opened by local ladies, Gillian Monteith and Daphne Gibson. Both ladies have extensive knowledge in the fashion industry. Gillian has worked with high street store Exhibit for over 26 years, while Daphne has had a successful modelling career working with big names such as Paul Costelloe, John Roche and Vivienne Westwood.

The store currently stocks a wide range of international and local levels, such as Salsa (Portugal), Relish (Italy) and Setre (Istanbul) to name a few. The store stocks outfits for all occasions to casual wear to formal dresses, the modern boutique has something to suit everyone to refresh your wardrobe.

Gillian and Daphne saw a gap in the market for their exciting and well stocked boutique and decided to give it a go. “We felt there was room for a niche boutique that could deliver brands that are not being covered and the people were not tapping into it. We decided to bring some of the brands that can only be purchased in the city to Enniskillen,” said Daphne Gibson.

Since opening the store, the ladies have been kept busy supplying their customers with the latest fashion. With a waiting room area for the gentlemen accompanying their ladies out shopping, Kalessi offers a very different shopping experience with coffee and Prosecco on hand to help cope with the stress of shopping.

“We offer a personal shopping experience and we try to do our best to help each customer get what they need. We listen to what people want and are not pushy in any way. All of the feedback we have received about the store has been very positive,” added Daphne.

Kalissi has recently acquired 2016 WorldSeniorRowingChampionHolly Nixon as a model for their different ranges. Along with the support from Holly, Daphne is delighted with the support that local businesses have given their boutique. “We have had so much support from businesses throughout Enniskillen who are happy to see another store opening up in town. They have all been encouraging us as we are a local independent retailer.”

The store is located at 14 Church Street, Enniskillen, and is open from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday. The store has something for all occasions, with Daphne and Gillian on hand to offer knowledgeable advice.
