fhbreakingnews

Two delivery men have been left badly shaken  after being threatened during an armed robbery in Derrylin this afternoon.

Police are appealing for witness following the dramatic incident on the town’s Main Street, which happened at around 12.35pm. The two delivery men were making a cash delivery when they were approached by two unknown males, one of whom was armed with a suspected firearm. The delivery men were threatened before the males made off with the cash.

Detective Inspector Brian Foster has urged anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or who may have noticed any suspicious people or vehicles in the Main Street area before or after the time of the robbery to contact detectives in Enniskillen on the non-emergency 101 number. Alternatively, witnesses can provide their information without giving their details using the independent charity Crimestoppers by speaking to them anonymously on 08005511.
