Dungannon Swifts 0

THIS local derby was game of two halves as the visitors had much the better of the first half and the Ferney Park side bossed the second.
The draw leaves Ballinamallard sitting fourth in the Premiership on four points.
Midfielder Shane McCabe came closest to scoring when his rasping effort from 25 yards in the second half cannoned back off the Swift crossbar and was scooped away for a corner.
Dungannon though had the better of the first 45 minutes with Ryan Harpur pulling the best out of keeper Alvin Rouse to tip his low shot around the post for a corner.
Ballinamallard manager Whitey Anderson admitted that after the first half he was glad to be going in 0-0.
“We weren’t in the game in the first half. Dungannon were the far better side, but in the second half we were a lot better and played with more confidence.
“I think a draw was a fair result overall.”
