St Michael’s College Enniskillen is launching ‘The MacRory Cup – the story of Ulster College Senior Football’ this Thursday evening in the College assembly hall at 7pm.

Among the guests will be past pupils of former winning teams as well as Fermanagh’s three All-Ireland All-star award winners Peter McGinnity, Martin McGrath and Barry Owens.

Members of the first ever winning MacRory team of 1973 will be there as well as members of the most recent winning team of 2012 who made history by being the first ever recipients of the newly commissioned MacRory Cup in 2012.

Guest speaker for the occasion will be past President of the College Canon Macartan McQuaid who also trained the College’s first ever winning Corn na nOg team in 1969.

It promises to be a special evening of nostalgia for the College with plenty of video footage of past matches and an extensive archive of photographs.
