Pat set for Charlie’s gig

FERMANAGH-BORN axeman Pat McManus is returning to play in Enniskillen this weekend.

The former Mama’s Boys guitarist has been on tour in Europe. His latest album, ‘Dark Emerald Highway’, was released in October of last year.

And, on Friday night he returns to play with The Pat McManus Band in Charlie’s Bar, Enniskillen.

Pat takes the lead vocals with the band, as well as guitar, fiddle – and whatever else he can get his hands on. Paul Faloon plays drums, while Marty McDermott plays bass.

Posting on his Facebook page, Pat indicated that its now 35 years ‘since it all began for me in rock ‘n’ roll’.

He added: “Hopefully a bit of a special night and I hear there’s a bit of a gathering from near and far”.

Pat has been playing across Europe in recent months, and across Ireland in the last few months.

Doors open from 9pm and support comes from Enniskillen musician Conor Phillips.
