NEXT Friday and Saturday, 3rd and 4th October, the Bawnacre Centre, Irvinestown hosts the fifth annual Irvinestown Model and Collectors Fayre.

Proceeds from this popular event, and other monies raised, will go towards the upkeep of Irvinestown Presbyterian Church.

Going by previous years, the displays at the fayre along with traders’ stalls will fill the Bawnacre to capacity. There will be a range of model farm/construction/quarry lay-outs, and model railways and aircraft.

The stalls will be offering for sale something to suit all tastes – not least, mothers anxious to bag an early Christmas gift.

They will be able to pick from farm/wooden toys, teddy bears, diecast models, DVDs as well as kitchen accessories (including the ‘Pampered Chef’), and more.

The fayre opens its doors on Friday of next week, 3rd October at 5pm and runs until 10pm that night and it will reopen on Saturday morning, 4th October at 10am and run till 5pm.

There will be refreshments to buy.

Admission to the show is £4 for adults, £1.50 for children, and £10 for a family ticket.
