Ballinamallard have it all to do again this Saturday when they travel to the new league leaders Portadown.
They did it two weeks ago when the then leaders Ballymena visited Ferney Park, but can the do it at Shamrock Park.
Manaager  Whitey Anderson says his boys are going to have to have the same midset as the day they defeated Ballymena.
“Portadown have made a great start. They have an extremely strong squad and they can threaten from all over the park,” said Anderson.
“We showed on  Saturday though that if we don’t compete for the 90 minutes in the game, then we get punished. We must do that if we are to get anything at Shamrock Park.
“It’s a tough ask, but the players know that they have to pick themselves up. They were disappointed with their second half on Saturday and will want to put it right. They will want to pick themselves up. That’s the way of life and it’s the same in football. They’ll be looking to put things right as soon as possibl. I’m sure  Saturday can’t come quickly enough for them”
Ballinamallard could have Jason McCartney back after his 25 minutes  against Institute on Saturday. He’ll probably get another 70 or 80 minutes tonight in the Reserves, while midfielder James McKenna will also turn out for the Reserves tonight as he makes more progress back into the first team squad.
