18-year-old arrested after serious car crash

Police have attended serious one vehicle road traffic incident at the roundabout at Queens Street, Enniskillen area this morning (Saturday 23rd August).
Inspector Flood said: “Shortly before 1:55am, it was reported that a blue Ford Focus collided close to the Johnston Bridge area.
“It is believed that six people were inside the car at the time of the incident. Two females aged 42 years old and 22 years old  and two males aged 28 years old and 26 years old have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life threatening. One male aged 23 years old has been taken to a nearby hospital with serious head injuries. His condition is described as critical.
“An 18-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the incident. The man remains in police custody.
“The Johnson Bridge roundabout at the junction with the Cornagrade Road, Queen Elizabeth Road, Queens Street and Halls Lane are currently closed. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to seek alternative main routes for their journey.”
