St Fanchea’s present ‘Songs from the shows’

St Fancheas College songs from the shows

Preparations are well underway for the upcoming ‘Songs from the Shows’ at St Fanchea’s College.

Normally the school puts on an annual production but this year the school has gone for something a little bit different, and a little bit special – with costumes, drama, music and dance.

‘Songs from the Shows’ is a whole school effort that guarantees an unmissable showcase for all fans of musical theatre.

Over 100 young performers from across all year groups at the college are taking part in the production and have earnestly committed themselves to the success of the show.

Show-goers can expect to experience the sights and sounds of London’s West End, including songs from such hit shows as Grease, The Sound of Music, Oliver, Westside Story and more!

The school choir is also involved and those attending will be treated to some of their favourite songs from some of the greatest musicals of all time.

It is the perfect production for the entire family to experience, offering an evening of enjoyable entertainment filled with a selection of your favourite tunes.

Don’t miss out on this musical event that will have you humming the songs all the way home!

Initially the school was planning to put on only one performance, on Tuesday 15th April, but due to the huge demand with this performance selling out within 24 hours, a second performance was added on Wednesday, April 16.

Both performances are at 7.30pm and admission is by ticket only.

Tickets can be purchased from the school office by contacting 028 66322919.
