TOMORROW , FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 29, the staff and pupils of St Joseph’s College, Enniskillen invite everyone to their annual Christmas Fair, which will be held in the school.

Each class in the school will have their own stall, and it is their responsibility to both stock and man the stalls during the fair while between 20 – 22 local businesses will be setting up their own stalls and selling a wide range and variety of items which may make ideal Christmas presents, or may just be the perfect gift you’re looking for.

“All the form classes have to come up with an idea for a stall” said Mary McDaid, one of the organisers of Christmas Fair at the school.

“The Christmas Fair is open to the public and will be running from 7pm to 9.30pm on Friday night.”

This is the seventh annual Christmas Fair at St Joseph’s College and it has proved very popular over the past few years, creating a wonderful, festive atmosphere just before the real hustle and bustle of the Christmas season sets in.
And there might even be a mince pie or two floating about as each year the PTA provide teas and coffees and some delicious home baking.

“The most important thing about this year’s Christmas Fair is that the profits are going to be shared between two very worthy causes – the Philippines Appeal and South West Acute Hospital Palliative team – as well as some going towards school funds” said Ms McDaid.

As our picture shows some Christmas elves may make an appearance while the man himself, Santa, is also rumoured to be turning up at some stage during the evening.

If you are looking for some Christmas gift ideas, or just would like to help raise some money for charity while getting into the festive spirit then why not pop along to St Joseph’s College, Drumclay, Enniskillen this Friday night and kick off the Christmas season in style.
