With over 60 bedrooms, the large choice of room types and costs, offer accommodation at everyone’s budget. The business also has three purpose built conference rooms which can cater for up to 40 people.
Each year, 3,500 guest surveys are sent out and over the last two years suggestions have included free wi-fi, cooked breakfast and standard room refurbishment. As a result of implementing these improvements, customer satisfaction has increased (3 percentage points), along with occupancy (by 6%) and average room rate (by 8%).
To further improve business practice, the hotel’s management has implemented a four point strategy: define direction; lead to succeed, engage the employees and captivate our customers.
Toddle In 2
Toddle In 2 is a registered crèche facility located at the South West Acute Hospital catering for 74 children in full day care as well as an afterschool club.
Since opening in July 2012 the business has transferred all its manual financial records to a computerised system and are in the process of implementing a balance score card system in order to measure the businesses performance.
In order to meet the changing needs of the customer, the business has introduced a range of measures: review their afterschool service; introduced earlier opening hours to accommodate those not working in the Enniskillen area; cater for age groups ranging from babies to after-school age; providing school collections to and from local schools as well as regular staff training and day trips for kids.
