Portora Royal School evacuated

Portora Royal School was evacuated earlier today after a suspected gas leak.

Hundreds of pupils were sent to the emergency evacuation point at the Parade Ground at the rear of the building as the Fire Bridge checked out the building.

It is believed they detected leaking gas.

The area was cleared later in the morning and the pupils returned to class.
