Meanwhile an Enniskillen-based detective also received a CC’s commendation for a painstaking investigation into a child abuse allegation that led to a man being charged with rape and attempted murder.
Another detective received a District Commander’s Commendation for his persistent investigation into a fraud against two elderly brothers involving shoddy workmanship at their home.
Other officers received Commendations for bringing to justice three men who set a forest fire
And the tenacious investigation of information from the public that helped Police seize 13kg of Cannabis in Garrison earned another officer a DC’s Commendation.
