Tempo join Lisnaskea in county final
Tempo ….. 1-11
Erne Gaels …. 1-04
Tempo were the better team in this senior championship semi final and in the end cruised to a seven point win. At half time they led by two points on a score line of 0-05 to 0-03. The first half was a nervy affair and neither side played anywhere near their potential. Erne Gaels dropped a lot of players into their defence and Tempo found it hard to penetrate. At the other end Tempo had the numerical advantage with only Ryan Lyons looking like he could trouble the posts.
Daryl Keenan was the top scorer over the hour hitting seven points in total with five coming from accurate placed balls. Thomas Campbell was a handful at full forward for Tempo winning a mountain of possession and he scored his teams goal that put them ten up mid way through the second half.
Damian Kelly was in fine form at centre back for Tempo throughout and once they found their groove early in the second half the game was never in doubt.
Seamus Ryder did score a goal for Erne Gaels but this was only a consolation score and Tempo now meet Lisnaskea in the county final on Saturday September 29.
