Peter Quinn to step down from FEDO post

Peter Quinn is to step down from his post as chairman of Fermanagh Economic Development Organisation (FEDO).
He hinted at this at the recent visit of Finance Minister Sammy Wilson to Enniskillen on Wednesday past.
A statement released from FEDO read:
“Peter Quinn has been the chairman of FEDO since its inception. He indicated at the meeting with Minister Wilson that he will be handing over the chairmanship in the near future.
“I am a great believer in the rotation of non-executive directors in all organisations. I have never stayed longer than five years in any such role, in my life and I was responsible for introducing the limit on the period of office of non-executive officials in the organisation, with which I am most strongly identified,” he said.
He will continue to support the activities of FEDO in an advisory capacity, as opposed to a non-executive role. FEDO would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Peter’s very positive contribution to the economic development of the county and looks forward to his continued input with regard to the further achievement of FEDO’s goals.”
