Charity row from Share Centre to Kesh
AN EDERNEY man who intends to row from the Share Centre in Lisnaskea to Kesh on Saturday has already raised over £3000 for charity.
Stephen Ingram is planning to row the 34 miles to raise money for two local girls who are sick.
Explaining why he is undertaking this huge challenge Stephen explains that he works with one of the mothers of these girls in Mantlin Court in Kesh and said he just wanted to do something to raise money for the Children’s Heartbeat Trust and the MRI Scanner Appeal.
Stephen, who is also a local volunteer with the RNLI, said he initially was thinking of doing a parachute jump but then settled on the charity row, with friend Archie Hamilton doing safety boat for the trip, which Stephen hopes to complete in approximately 10 hours.
