Town hit by spate of burglaries



A SPATE of burglaries has taken place in the Sallyswood area of Irvinestown. Police are appealing for information about the burglaries at a number of houses in the town.
Copper cylinders and pipes were stolen from the houses between June 29 and July 9.
The number to call is 0845 600 8000. Information can also be given to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Meanwhile, also in Irvinetown, police are are seeking to reunite a boat with its rightful owner.
The 20ft clinker style rowing boat was discovered close to an electricity substation at Irvinestown Road, Enniskillen, shortly before 1am on Wednesday.
