Man appears in court over brother's murder

Raymond Johnston today appeared in Enniskillen Magistrate’s Court charged with the murder of his brother.
The 33 year old of Coleshill park, Enniskillen is accused of stabbing 32 year old David Andrew Johnston to death in the early hours of July 13 in Killesher and was charged yesterday evening. Members of the accused family were present in the court as the charge was read.

The accused spoke only to confirm that he understood the charge.

A detective constable said that he believed he could connect Johnston with the charge.

District Judge Liam McNally remanded the accused into custody to appear at Fermanagh Magistrate’s Court by video link on August 13.
