20 acts lined up for music festival
By Ryan Smith
A collection of some of the finest local and not-so-local talent are descending upon Irvinestown this weekend for the third annual I-Fest music festival.
Over twenty performances will take place across three days with the event kicking off on Friday night with a performance from Cloud 9 in Floyd’s Lounge Bar.
The main event will take place on Saturday in the car park of the same bar, with acts spread over two stages – an indoor acoustic stage and an outdoor electric stage – with a plethora of well-known local and foreign acts.
Some Fermanagh favourites including Yellow Car No Return, Shakedown, Wasted Grace and Sidewalk Boogie are set to perform.
From further afield, The Revelates, Sidewinder and As We Watch Fires are also on the bill, while on the acoustic stage, Alex Wolfe, Caimin O’ Shea, Luke Burns are among the headline acts.
Two of the main organisers, Tony Martin and Lawrence Hoy are excited about this year’s event.
“Last year was the best year – every band was amazing. We had a great year and it’s going to get even better. With things like YouTube, you know what the bands are going to be like – and it’s more exciting that way,” said Tony.
