Two young men died in Sunday afternoon crash
Two young men died, one, the driver, at the scene, the other in hospital, following a two-vehicle road traffic collision near Kesh on Sunday afternoon last.
In all, six occupants were admitted to the Erne hospital, two young men from a Volkswagen Polo and a family group, including two children aged 2 and 3 years in a Volkswagen Passat.
The two cars collided on the Manoo Road in Kesh, at about 1.30pm on Sunday, at the Ardess crossroads.
The two deceased have been named locally as Ryan Maguire (22), from Drumquin, the driver of the Polo, and one of his passengers, Rodney Wilson (26), from Kesh. He died on Monday afternoon in the Erne hospital.
A third passenger in the Polo, Ciaran Donnelly, from Ederney, who is also in his 20’s, along with the two adults and the two children in the second car were admitted to hospital. He was subsequently transferred to Altnagelvin hospital.
