Queen to open new acute hospital



Queen Elizabeth II will officially open the new £267 million South West Acute Hospital outside Enniskillen when she visits Fermanagh on Tuesday week, June 26.

As part of her Diamond Jubilee Celebrations Buckingham Palace has announced that Her Majesty The Queen, accompanied by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, will undertake engagements in Enniskillen and Belfast on Tuesday, June 26 and Wednesday, June 27.

A spokesman for the Northern Ireland Office (NIO) said it had been confirmed the Queen will be in Northern Ireland for a two day visit on June 26 and 27 and that she will be visiting Enniskillen and Belfast.
