Ten clear and sitting pretty

Ballinamallard United sit 10 points clear and at the top of the IFA Championship league table after Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Tobermore United.
That win, combined with other results on the day takes them into that 10 point lead with just 9 games left to play.
It looks a pretty commanding lead, going into the final third of the campaign, but manager Whitey Anderson isn’t one bit bothered.
Anderson has his boys firmly focussed at one game at a time an it seems to be paying dividends.
“It’s a great position to be in with just 30 points left to play for. But you are still looking at a lot of games.
“At the moment there is no pressure on us, it’s all on the teams trying to catch us. The boys proved that on Saturday. Maybe we weren’t clinical enough, but I was more than happy with the way we played,” he said.
